There may exist a great opportunity to profit from the collection and sale of e-waste, however the cost later for abuse by individuals and organizations will be more than financial.

Fines may slow down or stop the efforts of abusers in this developing industry. However what we will find out later is that we all will be eating and drinking the mistakes of this e-waste problem.

E-waste contaminated soil and water sources are already affecting our ecological and biological systems.

Many things can be done, collectively to remedy the problem of e-waste, however planning to plan will not begin to address the problem.

Perhaps a well informed group of individuals who are willing to be active in the process of change can make a difference.

The time is now.

Be Informed. Be Accountable. Move Forward

It’s very disturbing to know about small children being employed in recycling hazardous e-waste that to without providing them adequate security measures.

waste products we throw out…I remember my grandmother telling me once she used to use orange wrappers for toilet
paper. It is partly the government’s fault for allowing so much harmful packaging into the waste stream. I won’t be
surprised if they add another tax on different types of packaging…but really, is it fair to just pay for our
damage to the environment? What happened to our inventiveness and imagination? More importanly, what is happening to
our morals?
