Off to GIScience

I'm off to the biennial GIScience Conference, this time in Park City Utah. There I'll be presenting on "Participation, Governance, and the Geoweb".

Congratulations to us

GEOIDE has just awarded us a team grant to research Participatory Geoweb for Engaging the Public on Global Environmental Change.

Final Program of SKI Canada

Spatial Knowledge and Information Canada was a great success. With over 60 attendees and over 50 presenters, we had an intense 2 days (both in terms of skiing and participating). Visit SKI Canada to download the abstracts and selected pdfs (soon) of the presentations.

Article about my research

McGill published a nice story about my research. Tough challenge considering my diverse interests. Great job by the reporter, Dan Spitzberg.
