About

This blog originated in December 2004 as a university course blog for ENVR 480 of the McGill University School of Environment (MSE), Computers, Society and Nature (course description in abbreviated form and longer form). The course provided the theme for the blog: the intersection of Information and Communications Technology (ICT), society and the environment.

Since then the blog has evolved to include the occasional ramblings of the faculty and staff of the MSE on matters environmental and elemental.

In the Fall, 2005, many of the postings will relate to a project in ENVR 401, Environmental Research, on virtual versus physical activism around environmental issues. Click here for a current list of projects.
