Congratulations on another successful SKI conference! The student awards this year went to:

First place: Blake Walker (SFU): Painting the Town Red: Graffiti and Violent Injury in Vancouver, British Columbia ($1000)

Second place: Lauren Arnold (USask): Sample Analysis of a Population Survey for the ‘Public Attitudes towards Nuclear Issues in Saskatchewan’ Study ($500 + ArcGIS license from ESRI Canada)

Runner’s Up: Tania Khalafbeigi (UCalgary): A Proposal to Address the Big Data Challenges for the Internet of Things ($500)

Wook Rak Jung (USask): Challenges and Benefits Using a GPS-tracking Method for Understating Human Behaviours during Navigation ($500)
